laced-up reformation jumpsuit

I'm not gonna lie.  When this random ass corset trend started popping up everywhere, I was its biggest opponent.  I absolutely hated it.  I'm going to go out on a limb here and say Kim K started 'popularized' the trend when she started wearing corsets over baggy t-shirts with over-the-knee boots or stilettos.  That look was not for me.  I came around when I saw Hailey Baldwin shut it down in this Sally La Pointe look and I was sold.  The key to making the corset trend work is to incorporate it seamlessly into your ensemble.  If it looks too contrived, you're doing it wrong.  If it looks like you're wearing a waist trainer, you're doing it wrong.  The corset should be of the same color palette as the item you're wearing underneath and said item should be form-fitting.

I am wearing a Reformation Jumpsuit (below) | ZARA Cardigan (sold out - similar below) | Public Desire Boots (sold out)
